Moiwo has to juggle national ambulance services, clinicians at hospitals, treatment centres and isolation units, and psychosocial assistance for patients and their families. She also disseminates test results and updates a national database on COVID-19.

From the war in Ukraine to climate change, Deputy Secretary-General and UN leaders in Europe and Central Asia talk sustainability in action
UN Deputy Secretary-General Ms. Amina Mohammed has called on UN Resident Coordinators in Europe and Central Asia to help ensure the region does not lose momentum as its 18 countries and territories strive to meet the ambition of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. “The 2030 Agenda remains our blueprint for action. Rescuing the Sustainable Development Goals in the Decade of Action across the region is, and will remain, the absolute priority for our work,” Ms. Mohammed told the Resident Coordinators gathered in Geneva for a meeting back to back with the Regional Forum for Sustainable Development.

How twelve UN entities in Viet Nam integrated their ICT systems and optimized their workflow
At the UN in Viet Nam, we had a hunch that sharing costs associated with IT equipment, infrastructure, and skilled staff would improve our overall efficiency and save costs. With this hypothesis in mind, we started working on an integrated One United Nations Information Communications and Technology (One UN ICT) system as part of the reforms of the Delivering as One initiative.
